mapping the pathway
To move from the 'as-is' state to the 'to-be' we map the pathway for the change.
Every change is unique. There will always be similarities to other changes and our experience helps identify these; we use those similarities as rough patterns but we take nothing for granted in developing the map for each change.
We use a series of tools to assess the impacts of change on the smooth working of your business and the impacts of internal and external factors of your business on the change. This review process is tried and tested - time spent mapping the pathway reduces the chance of risks being realised and issues emerging later in the change process.
This mapping incorporates both the changes to be made (we see these in the critical care phase) and the benefits to be yielded (which we will focus on in the graduation phase).
